Web-based photo gallery

I’ve installed a web-based photo gallery tool called Gallery for a couple of clients in the past few months.

It’s not quite as flexible as the web app tool I use on my PC but it has one big advantage: clients can upload photos to it themselves and manage all the galleries… no webmaster needed, and therefore saving you money in the long run.

You can see the tool on the Northfield.org site and at the Contented Cow. Both sites have old and new galleries.

It takes about a half hour to install the software on your server… and then some training/coaching time.

Just to clarify: this has nothing to do with importing photos and graphics into your weblog.
