A blog for our neighborhood and townhouse association

Last week, my wife Robbie and I set up a blog site for the Valley Pond Townhouse Association where we’re members. The townhouses surround Hidden Valley Park in Northfield, Minnesota on three sides.

Revamped blogsite for Knecht’s Nurseries & Landscaping

We’ve recently made some modifications to the blogsite design for Knecht’s Nurseries & Landscaping. Working with co-owner Deb Knecht, Northfield web designer Sean Hayford O’Leary incorporated new elements to the homepage blog and sidebars while I’ve been working with her on restructuring many of the site’s pages.

Revamped blogsite for J. Grundy’s Rueb ‘n’ Stein

We’ve revamped the blogsite for J. Grundy’s Rueb ‘n’ Stein, a restaurant in downtown Northfield, converting it from our original Blogger-embedded site to WordPress. I’ll soon begin training owner Joe Grundhoefer and manager Andy Beaham to administer the site.

Northfield web designer Sean Hayford O’Leary did the design and imported all the old Blogger posts.

Harvard’s Nieman Journalism Lab takes a look at Locally Grown, RepJ and the new CSJ

I don’t know the Nieman Journalism Lab guys personally but Mathew Ingram’s blog post today, “Locally grown” news gets a boost acknowledged the good stuff happening with Locally Grown, the group blog and podcast that I co-host in my hometown of Northfield.

Revamped blogsites for the City of Eden Prairie

We’ve recently updated all the City of Eden Prairie blogs, including those for longtime bloggers, City Manager Scott Neal and Fire Chief George Esbensen, plus a new one for the Eden Prairie Police Department.

Revamped blogsite for the Trials Training Center (TTC)

I’ve recently revamped the website for the Trials Training Center  (motorcycle resort in Sequatchie, Tennessee), converting it from our old Blogger-embedded design to WordPress. I’ll soon begin training TTC director Catherine Bedley to administer the site.

New blog site for KYMN 1080 Radio

Longtime employee Jeff Johnson bought KYMN 1080 AM from its owners in January and promptly hired me to help him put up a blog site for the Northfield station. Newly hired sales manager Tim Freeland has now taken over the administration of the site and is doing the blogging.
